May 11, 2013

I have, on occasion, mentioned using crafts as my way of dealing with my mental…peculiarities.

The movie Zombieland was released in October 2009. One of my favorite parts is (spoiler) when they find Bill Murray alive and well and masquerading as a zombie from time to time to get out of the house. Genius. I actually really liked the movie but I have only seen it once.

On May 10, 2013 I found myself stuck on the bus with no needle. I had a project but somehow dropped the needle in my backpack or somewhere else along the way. I don’t know how I got to it, but I spent about 15-20 minutes in my head pitching the role to Bill Murray. Pitches with and without studio backing. I don’t mean I imagined what it would be like to have pitched it to him. I mean even as to what I hung on the wall in my office. I sweated and fretted about having to offer it to him. About wording it right. What if he says no?!

Yep. I am better off counting stitches. #craftINsanity
